How to Use the Pomodoro Timer
- Set your work interval (default: 25 minutes) and short break (default: 5 minutes).
- Set the long break duration (default: 15 minutes) and the number of sessions before a long break (default: 4).
- Click Start to begin the first work session.
- Focus on your task until the timer ends — a notification and sound alert signal the break.
- Take your break, then click Start again for the next session.
- Your completed Pomodoro session count is tracked and saved locally.
The Pomodoro Technique was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s as a time management method.
