EpicTools (epictools.net) is a free, browser-based toolbox. Every tool on this site runs entirely client-side — your data never leaves your browser and is never sent to any server operated by EpicTools.
2. Information We Collect
None. EpicTools does not:
- Collect your name, email address, or any other personal information
- Require you to create an account or log in
- Track your activity across pages or sessions
- Set first-party cookies
The only data stored on your device is a single localStorage entry
(epictools-theme) that remembers whether you prefer the dark or light colour
theme. This value never leaves your device.
3. Tool Data Stays in Your Browser
Any text, numbers, files, or other input you provide to a tool is processed locally in your
browser using JavaScript. Nothing you enter is transmitted to EpicTools servers. When you
close or navigate away from a tool, any input data is discarded unless the tool explicitly
saves it to your browser's localStorage — and even then, it remains on your
device only.
4. Third-Party Services
EpicTools relies on a small number of third-party services to deliver the site. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use EpicTools in aggregate — for example, which tools are most popular and what browsers or screen sizes are in use. Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is aggregated and anonymous; we cannot identify you personally from it. See the Google Privacy Policy for full details. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Hosting & Content Delivery (AWS / CloudFront)
This site is hosted as a static website on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and served globally through Amazon CloudFront. AWS infrastructure may collect standard server access log data — including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, referring URLs, and request timestamps — as part of normal CDN operation. This data is used for security and operational purposes only. See the AWS Privacy Notice for full details.
Google Fonts
Page typography is loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and user-agent. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
EpicTools displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve personalised ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. See the Google Privacy Policy for more information. EpicTools has no access to, and does not control, any data collected by Google for advertising purposes.
5. Cookies
EpicTools sets no first-party cookies. Your theme preference is stored in
localStorage, not in a cookie.
Third-party services listed in Section 4 (specifically Google AdSense) may set cookies on your device in accordance with their own policies. You can manage or delete these through your browser settings at any time.
6. Data Sharing & Sale
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with anyone. Because we do not collect personal data in the first place, there is nothing to share.
7. Children's Privacy
EpicTools is a general-purpose utilities site with no age-gating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Some pages on EpicTools may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.
